1. Measure the area and visit The Home Depot, Rona or tile store to select ceramic tiles that best suit the needs of the space and purchase.
2. Remove current old ceramic tiles and clean the area (very hard).
3. Lay galvanized metal lathes ($5.99, 3.4 Lbs Rib Lath 27 in. x 8 ft.) out on the wood sub-flooring, and staple them using stapler.
4. Mix mortar ($5.99) with water as peanut butter consistence and then put the mixed mortar on the metal lath. And wait for 24 hours.
5. Mix different mortar ($31.99) with water as peanut butter consistence second time and then put the mixed mortar on the first layer of the previous dried mortar. And wait for 24 hours.
6. Lay the tiles on area to determine where is starting point.
7. Put grout (Rona, $14.49, 4.5Kg) on the floor
